Treasure Island Beach, Laguna, CA
Treasure Island Beach in Laguna, CA was the first beach I ever visited and it's remained my absolute favorite. I love it because although it's a very populated beach, all visitors make sure to keep it clean and maintain the light blue waters. I've also had multiple encounters with aquatic animals at this beach like seals sitting on the huge rocks, dolphins diving in and out of the water futher into the horizon, and surprisingly even bunnies. -Melanie C
Mykonos, Greece
I traveled to all of the Greek islands in May of 2023 but I fell in love with Mykonos. The atmosphere as I wondered the white cobblestone streets looking for the best places to shop and the best places to get gelato was so comforting. Every local was kind to tourists and the amount of bright colored buildings made it feel like I had stepped away from reality. This is the first Greek island I visited and nothing will ever top my first chicken gyro that I had at Sakis Souvlaki. -Melanie C
Murren, Switzerland
My dream vacation destination is Murren, Switzerland. It is a mountain village that absolutely stuns during the summer season. The grassy, flower-coated terrain and quaint cream-colored houses make it look like an absolute dream to look out to. I would love to be surrounded by nature, have beautiful sights to walk through, eat deliscious food, and be able to sleep with no traffic noise, since it's a car free village. -Melanie C

In the golden autumn of October in Quebec, Canada, it is suitable to enjoy the autumn, and the maple leaves on both sides of the "Maple Leaf Avenue" gradually began to wear red makeup, and the entire area was dyed into brilliant colors by maple leaves.-Ao L
Xel-Há Park
One of my all time favorite places I've been to is Xel-Há Park. I went here during my trip to Cancun, Mexico years back. Not only is Xel-Há a waterpark, but it is an ecotourism development that is so incredibly fun. You can snorkel and scuba dive in rivers, canals, and hidden bays with so many fish and aquatic wildlife. I remember having the absolute time of my life and having to be dragged out of the water at the end of the day. The snorkeling experience I had here was something I'll never forget.-7M
Anchorage, Alaska
Another of my favorite places I've been is Anchorage, Alaska. The national parks and scenic nature parks in this city are incredible. A perfect example is Chugach Parl that has many outdoor acitivities and wildlife viewing. The Chugach mountains are incredible and have many wonderful views, as do many of the mountains in Anchorage. It is a great place to connect with nature and go have some old fashion outdoorsy fun, and not just in Big Bear.-7M
Waialea Beach
I have always found the most relaxation and excitement at the beach, which is why another one of my favorite places is Waialea Beach in Kihea, Hawaii. It is a somewhat quaint but beautiful beach, on the island of Hawaii after driving around seeing nothing but dry grass my family found this beach and it made my day. This lovely little beach has the perfect temperature water and so many shady spots to cool off from the sun. Once I get the money, I will definitely be returning.-7M
Cappadocia, Turkey
In Cappadocia, Turkey it is popular for a number of hot air balloons to be flying overhead. There, tours are offered to showcase the city's unique and breathtaking views of the sunrise over an ancient landscape to travelers from all over. I would like to be able to experience not only a hot air balloon ride, but also being able to view that scene. -CMJ
Tokyo, Japan: Sensoji Temple
The Sensoji Temple in Tokyo, Japan. is the oldest Temple in the city and carries a great significance. I especially would like to visit here to see the scene during cherry blossom season, which represents life and death and bring a sense of vitality and vibrance that I feel would be special to see. -CMJ
Bangkok, Thailand
Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand. The Grand Palace is located here and would be an incredible sight to see as it was home to the King and the Emerald Buddha. The Wat Traimit is also located in Bangkok and is not only the largest golden Buddha in the world, but the largest golden statue in the world at five and a half tons of gold (about 12,000 ppounds). -CMJ
Downtown Seattle
One of my favorite places is Seattle, Washington. I have visted it before and it is always fresha and cold all year long. There is no heat. I love nature and it shows its beauty 30 minutes outside of the city. -Caren H

Alameda Island
I grew up on Alameda Island and some of my most fondest memories of that place is the beach. Because it was a smaller island, the beaches were very accessible to us. My highschool was only a 10 minute drive from the nearest beach. My friends and I would sometimes go down to the beach during lunch and hangout. Sometimes we would battle the waves or play beach volleyball. It was fun. -KH

This is the venue I went to to see a LCD Soundsystem concert with my best friend, Jocelyn. This night was especially so special to me because we were celebrating the new years. This is the convention center that held Genesis X. That was my first gaming tournament and it has a special place in my heart. I only live about 30 minutes away without traffic, and whenever I have the time to go, I grab my keys and I'm out the door. The Belair Swapmeet
The belair swapmeet is a chain of flee markets with locations all the Inland Empire. This place is very important because it was a big part of my childhood, being somewhere that I would go almost every weekend with my family. It was at one of these near my home that I discovered my passion for fighting games. It was also at another that I got my first job helping in the entire process of setting up, selling, and then putting everything back. Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is one of the national parks located in California, and is one that I personally visisted with my family during spring break of my senior year in highschool. One thing that I was not prepared for when visiting this location was the absolute size of it, with it taking several hours just to drive through it to get to the air bnb that we had rented. The Eiffel Tower
A place that I have yet to visit, but have still heard a lot of is the Eiffel Tower, located in Paris France. This place gets a reputation for always a tourist location, while at the same time being a place with a lot of problems. From what I have heard, the surrounding area isn't exactly the most cleanly area. Despite the negative things that I have heard about it, this is still a place that I want to go to. I can't really recall a time that I have been a tourist in a place that super alien to me, I want to see more of the world and i want to see all of it, so being in a place that is as alien to me as france is still something that I would like to see. -Felipe G
Palm Springs Tramway
The Palm Springs tramway has to be one of my favorite places. I’ve gone so far with my boyfriend, because we both love exploring new things, and when we went, we were actually visiting some family affairs there, and we had nothing to do. We were a little bored, and he was like hey you wanna go to the Tramway And I was so ready to go see and explore this tramway. I will say it was such an amazing view. We did go all night and I am hoping we go in the daytime to see the difference.-S.H
Santa Monica Pier
When summer break is here my family and I always have a little transition where we meet up with my cousins and we actually go to the Santa Monica pier we take our belongings to be at the beach for several hours so we take chairs we take waters we take food and we just have a good time going in the beach water and also we enjoy going into the Ferris wheel or the little roller coaster and just explore the little pier.-S.H

Indoor Basketball Court
My second favorite place is my favorite indoor basketball court in the Bay Area. This court is where I met a lot of my closest friends and where I go to play some quick pickup basketball games. The court is really well maintained and does not get too crowded. -EL
Half Dome
My third favorite place is Half Dome in Yosemite. The Half Dome hike was one of my favorite hikes ever because of the breathtaking view at the top. Towards the end of the hike, you start rope climbing in order to make it to the very top which was a very unique experience. -EL
