Balboa Park, San Diego

Balboa Park in San Diego, California is a 1,200 acre park full of various museums, trails, and gardens for visitors to see. This is one of my favorite locations because it mixes City life and Nature in a seemless way. -RM

Yosemite National Park is a 1,200 mile national park that was founded in 1964. Although I have never been, the idea of exploring its various trails and seeing the famous locations sounds very exciting. -Roberto M

Favorite Place 1: Greece

I would love to visit Greece because of the beautiful scenery, traditional food, as well as the history present in that area. I have always took an interest in Greek and Roman history, concerning their building techniques, pottery, and especially the stories behind their gods. Laguna Beach, California

Laguna Beach, California is one of my second favorite places to go because it's has such a beautiful culture of the arts, by a beach, and holds the yearly Pageant of the Masters. I've been to the Pageant of the Masters twice and its a show displaying a variety of artworks around a topic such as 'Around the World' or 'U.S. History'. Although, the twist is that all the pieces are done with painted people to look like the sculpture or painting itself! It's really amazing and I've always wanted to submit my own work into the galleries, but unfortanatly I'd have to be a resident in Laguna Beach and it's way too expensive to live there

LA, California

LA, California is one of my third favorite places to go because of how many good memories I had when I was there. From the times I've visited the Griffith Observatory, for school and with family; to even watching the movie Labyrinth at a LA graveyard! I had so many good memories of exploring and enjoying LA. Even in downtown LA, with the Vincent Van Gough exhibit to even Ripley's Believe It or Not, there's just so much fun things to do and try in LA, the sky is the limit!

Laguna Beach, CA

I have visited Laguna Beach about three times and I always look forward to it and enjoy it. I went once to have a picnic there with my friend and the other times I went with family. There were not that many people which I enjoyed and I also enjoyed the walk there because it wasn't crowded and there was actually scenery. -JL

I have never been to Broadway in NYC but I have always wanted to go. My sister and I would talk about it because we would see this show called Victorious and they performed the play Chicago and they talked about how they also performed it on Broadway. LA Galaxy Soccer Field in Carson, CA

I have been to the LA Galaxy soccer field when I was younger and it is something that I really enjoyed. I loved it because I was with my family and I actually enjoyed watching the game. I always wanted to go back to another soccer game but to another one with friends. -JL

I was in Lapland when I was 8 years old. It was a really cool trip. It has a lot of things to do, like going in a sled with dogs, visiting really amazing places like lakes and waterfalls, and I also met Santa Claus!

Big Sur, California

Big Sur, California is a 90 mile stretch of highway. It borders the coast and has many wooded areas that border the water which makes for a beautiful sight. There are many spots that have seals and otters if you're lucky. The weather is usually gloomy which causes an overcast of fog which only makes the scene more beautiful. Big Sur is very beautiful and I would love to visit it again! -Lupita C

Guadalajara, Mexico is one of the home of the Mexican culture. There are many beuatiful plazas and attractions here which makes for a popular tourist attraction. San Fransisco, California

San Fransisco is home to many famous landmarks namely the Golden Gate bridge and the houses known as the printed ladies, one of which was displayed on the popular TV show, Full House. There is also popular tourist attractions such as the imaginatorium, the Alcatraz prison, and Chinatown. My favorite parts were the houses, imaginatorium, and Alcatraz. San Fransisco is one of my favorite spots here in California and I love to visit it whenever I can spare the time.-Lupita C

Mammoth Lakes, CA

Mammoth Lakes a center for retreats snowboarding, and just a nice vaction stay away in the summer and the winter. It is nice for elevation training but also relaxing with the family. With multiple cabin homes it feels like home with all the amenities such as being nearby the mountain.-JAL

Roatan is a vacation get away for many but home to others with its immnese culture and diversified people Roatan has a lot to do. I have visited and ziplined there as my family is originally from Honduras which provided a wild expierence with some already expert people at zipling.-JAL

Barcelona, Spain

La Sagrada Familia is an immense Basilica in Spain that has been in construction for over one hundred years. It's detailed structure has taken time that the original planner Antoni Guadi was not able to witness even half of the Basilica. I have recently visited there when the four towers were already build and had the opportunity of walking up to one of the towers with it's amazing view. -JAL

In 2018 I travled to Paris, France with my family for two months. It was an experience that I will never forget. The culure, the people,and moreover the food. Everything was much more clearner and healthier. Although Paris itself was not that clean it was still very beautiful

Athens Greece

Of all the places I have been, Greece has by far the nicest beaches. The vibe there is very simmilar to that of Yerevan. Also the food there is very good such as the octopus (if avoiding the tourist traps).AGB

Dilijan Armenia

Dilijan is very different to Yerevan, unlike Yerevan it is not a huge city. It is located in the middle of huge green forests. It is a very beautiful and relaxing spot and has its own historical sites to explore.AGB

Favorite Place 1

I visited Honolulu,Hawaiii in August of 2021 to visit my brother. The best part of Hawaii for me was all the scenery and nature that was available to take in especially on hikes and other locations. SH

I went to Toronto two years ago in September 2022 with my family. The part of visiting Toronto that was the most enjoyable for me, was being able to experience some of the local attractions there and some of the Canadian culture. I also appreciated being able to see snow there as I don't experince it that much as a result of living in California. SH

One of the out of country cities that I have always wanted to visit is Barcelona. I'd love to be able to see the some of the culture and local sights there, and as a fan of FC Barcelona it'd be an amazing experience to visit the Camp Nou. SH

I chose Lake Tahoe as my first favorite place to visit because growing up, my family went camping there every summer. This past summer break I went on a mother-daughter trip to New York City. It was my first time visiting the east coast and a large city like New York. I've been visiting Joshua Tree National Park almost every year since I was born. Joshua Tree is known for its stunning desert landscape, whcih features uniaue rock formations, rugged mountains, and its iconic Joshua trees. Its diverse ecosystems support a wide range of plant and animal life. Joshua Tree will always be my favorite place because of the sentimental and physical aura. -ZC

Although I have never been to Manchester, I would really want to visit it one day. More specifically why I would want to go there is because of my favorite soccer team I support, Manchester United. Manchester is a total vibe with its mix of old-school charm and buzzing energy.-ZC

One city in my country I would like to visit is Chongqing, located in southern China. I'd like to visit Chongqing because it's one of the most technologically advanced cities in China today, with world class infrastructure combining futuristic and traditional Chinese architetural styles. As someone who has read up a lot about the Vietnam War, I'd like to visit Hanoi, Vietnam. The city has a lot of history, and I'd to learn about the history and lives of people that lived in Hanoi during the conflict by visiting the Vietnam War museum and memorial in Hanoi to learn about the conflict from the Vietnamese perspective. Many people have said they would like to live or at least visit Japan, I happen to be latter and I would like to visit Japan one day. One of the places I would like to visit in particular is Tokyo's Shibuya district which is known for it's lively nature and is in the heart of Japan's biggest city. -RDD

Honolulu is one the most beautiful places I have ever visited and I remember it fondly from my visit to Hawaii when I was younger. I remember the warm yet salty water from it's beaches and the overall natural beauty of the island.-RDD

Another place that I visited and loved was when I visited New York City and it is true when people say that there really is no city like New York City. It was tall and unlike anything I had ever seen before, it was maze to explore for me, yet I still enjoyed it as it felt like home in Los Angeles only with taller buildings.-RDD

Los Angeles is where I was born, and where my family I would frequent while growing up. From swapmeets, to eating out at local spots, every weekend we'd go there. As well as it is also the home of my two favorite teams, the Lakers and the Dodgers. -Anon

Japan

My top favorite place in the entire world has to be Japan I love the culture, the food and everyone there is so kind. I recently went on my graduation family trip and it was to Japan. I would love to go back. I've only been once in my life, however, I do not have a single complaint about Japan. Everyone is very well behaved and the views are breathtaking. It has by far been the best vaction I've been on. -JR

Cancun

I have been to Cancun a few times in my life and I have loved it every single time. The beach water is warm and it is overall very relazing to be there. I will be going back in June and I cannot wait to experience the warm tempurature again. My favorite hotel has to be Xcarete. I loved the parks that came included with the hotel, we did not spend much time at the hotel however, because we were always at the parks. -JR

I have also been to the Bahamas a few times in my life and it is always an amazing experience. The water is crystal clear and it is very warm. I love going to the tidepools and listening to the music that is played on the beach. I cannot wait to go back to the bahamas. Newpport Beach - USA

Newport Beach, CA is a magnificent cxity located in the south of california, It ahs a lot of things such as water and sand that i dilike, but it has other things I do like such as thje architecture, the humidity, altitude, location on the map, peer, population distribution, and overall citry planning - exept for the main strode that runs trought the city. Overall it is as walkable as anyt other city is the US (Not very) but will overall not make anyone miserable. It is still possible to do things. I lived there mfor 4 years for highschool

Muacchu Pichu - Peru

Muacchu Pichu is a great mountain on the southern part of peru that has some very interesting ruins. The manner in which they have been preserved and the way we are allowed to interact with them - that being trough non guided tours makes it one of the best destiunations in the world. Going to this location also nessesitates going and staying ion preu which is rather pleasant and the way trhey make their clothing is rather intriguing. Overall the interest that is bnroughta boput by this massive and beutiful monument to pass civilizations is wworth visitingf and for that reason is my favoritew placce. I went there in 2014

Plaza De Bolivar - Colombia

The Plaza De Bolivar is a magnificent showing of almost all failures of modern public space design, while still acomplishing what modern designers disrigard. The history of the arquitecture of this place is what makes it so wonderful. From a beutiful park with seating and shade with car traffic around it, it has turned into its current eiteration - a completly flat brick floored area with only pedestrian acess. The decision to go from a beutiful fountain and greenery space with cars to an awful park, but at leeast with no cars is gerat and very interestiong

Most of my favorite places are ones I want to go to not because of the things to do there but for the things to see there. I want to go to greece because I like their food and the architecture of their iconic hill houses in Greece-AD
